This is my entry for 's contest, "Bring Me to Life" I found the topic intriguing, and it made me think and want to try something =3

And as for the who and why aspect....

I chose my character Reiko. As for him being the most original character ever, or having the most unique story, I doubt he has that, but that's what makes him more personable. Like drums, characters are the beats to their creator's heart; their emotions, wants, needs,dreams etc.

Why would I want Reiko brought to life? I'm a goon, goof-off, etc., but would always be there to help those who need me. Reiko is the closest to my true personality (minus some aspects XD ), and therefore can convey a lot of my emotions and feelings. I suppose if he were real, I could steal his drums because I'm too poor to buy some, and we could do stunts and grow mustaches together....XD But honestly, I suppose I'd find a true/trustworthy friend, who understands me the way I am. Sappy, I know, but the truth.He'd also do super crazy things and stuff with me no one else would want to do, like sleeping on park benches!

I don't think I've ever worked so hard on a pic @.@ I really wanted to try and push my art, to become better...and this is something I've always wanted to draw, but just couldn't get it to come out right. This song really reminds me of this and Reiko too XD But I have to say, this is one of the few pics/art things that I've done in a long time that I can look at and let out a happy squeal that it came out how I pictured it in my head, especially with no refs! =3 So sorry if the drums aren't right or something, it's been a long time since I've been able to play/see a set
