Alias : Set Trial 32 Gender: Female Height: 30 inches at shoulder Weight: 163 pounds Parameters : • Skeleton enables for enhanced function-from achievable running speeds, strength, durability, to senses. Protects vitals well, with heart and lungs shielded, as well as jugular and windpipe running along underside of spine. Also adds weight to organism and can strain as well. • Hydraulic joints enable creature to exert more force against objects, therefore increasing capability in a variety of situations. • Capable of reaching speeds measured close to 200 miles an hour for short bursts, seems to heavily strain and tear apart muscle when speeds more than that are reached. • Skeleton requires daily nourishment from organics to continue functioning…can last up to 3 days without it before metal becomes brittle and creature’s sentient functions shuts down. • Enhanced healing- heals at an accelerated rate…with most cuts and wounds being healed within 30 minutes. • Heightened senses- extra pits in skull cavity allows for olfactory detection of even trace amounts of chemical materials. Eyes are constructed ocular lense implants surrounded by organic tissue, enabling further sight and focusing ability, as well as slight IR trail detection. Hair heightens peripheral nerve detection and feel of surroundings. Hearing is enhanced to hear a range of sounds, from very low to high frequencies—over long ranges. Jaw design allows for a huge bite force, able to break through other metals. Teeth are covered with dentin and enamel to help protect underlying metal from wear. • Claws enable creature to climb easily-partly opposable thumblike appendage. • Also able to deconstruct the composition of water, enabling her underwater breathing…but if the water flow is not steady, organism can drown. **Also…Blitz is capable of changing energy currents around herself…though this is highly unconscious and brought on by an emotional state or distress. This was not designed by the scientists…it’s a ‘catch22’ for Blitz’s true soul is a being known as Tiero with the ability. Background: Originally schemed for use as a military weapon, Blitz was designed and created by a group of funded scientists led by a young but promising Russian engineer named Nathaniel Mihailov. The group desired something sturdy yet capable of quick motion. Many animals were tried through splicing to find an effective combination, but none prevailed, so the base animal became the wolf, for not only its speed abilities, but its endurance as well. After many trials and errors, Blitz was created by fusing a newly created ‘metal’ (created by carbon metals, polymers, and splicing of bone materials), that required organic material to stay sturdy and functional. The term Mechanorg(mechanical organism) was applied to the creatures resulting from the work. The metal was able to ‘grow’ under body conditions, and so to save on material and money, a skeleton equivalent to that of a an 8 week old pup, and cells were injected into the appropriate parts or the skeleton to begin muscle development. For camoflauging purposes and terrain capabilities , a few traits were altered to be a mix of wolf and tiger. After 32 failed trials, one trial survived to full development. Mihailov had to leave for a trip moments after ‘Blitz’…as the team had dubbed it, had been ‘born’. A private donor named Marco Vincenzo, a very powerful and rich man in the underground rings of crime and drugs, came forward and underhandedly bought Blitz off one of the scientists one night, to use for his own purposes of guarding his ‘franchise’. Raised and taught to be brutal and merciless, Blitz did well at guarding, but little for trust or love of people came from it. Marco’s 6 year old daughter Emily got caught in one of Blitz’s rampages during a training session and was ripped apart. This awakened sentient thinking in Blitz, knowing what she had done was bad, and for the first time feeling guilt. Marco then had Blitz weighted down and thrown into the river to waste away. Luckily Blitz escaped…only to be caught again by a dog fighting ring. When the ring was dissolved by the authority, for perhaps the first act of kindness Blitz received to that point…Blitz was rescued by a Sioux Indian named Akecheta Honiahaka. Not being able to tame Blitz fully, he did manage to build back a little trust. When he had to move further to the west he released Blitz into the forests in the mountains outside the city. Blitz was approx 1.5 years old at the time. Shortly after that, Blitz came into contact with a creature that looked almost like her, though it spoke a human tongue. This creature’s name was Mai Tamika, (later affectionately dubbed Sub-Zero by Reiko). Mai befriended Blitz, and set about the task of trying to teach Blitz to speak like herself. Blitz was a quick learner, due to her demeanor, and learned basic speaking through sound mimicry. Eventually, Mai and Blitz were joined by other creatures, Reiko and ‘Spirit’ (a name given to him by Blitz since he was white and looked like a ghost). The reason these creatures joined up with Blitz dealt with their world, and they were sort of like ambassadors to this strange creature that looked like them in a different world. Blitz eventually softened up to them and Spirit ends up being Blitz’s mate. At about 4 years of age…Blitz stumbled upon her creator Nathaniel, watching him get mugged from the rooftops on one of her trips to the city…and for the odd reason of a faint memory of his scent, protects him, and later befriends him and his sister Mharie. Blitz ends up staying around him most of the time, acting as a ‘ pet’. They have a strange relationship, like best friends…that love to bother each other. Otherwise Blitz stays in the forests. Blitz is actually a being known as Tiero-a servant of Death (demon) given the title Fate’s Messenger of Death- serving on assignment in this world. Personality: Blitz is generally cautious, and not easy to trust others. But for those that Blitz cares about, she is quick and outgoing, and would do anything to protect them…usually endangering herself in the act. Blitz tends to be more laid back now, but earlier in her life, she was easy to upset, and very easy to get an attack from. Blitz prefers to think things out a lot, and analyzes a situation thoroughly to see the best approach. She dislikes crowds and feeling cornered/confined. An avid lover of winter and the night, and also has become quite the music enthusiast thanks to Reiko introducing her to it.
